Graham Watts


Graham Watts has directed around 130 professional theatre productions, several short films, has worked in television, written for both theatre and film, and has enormous experience leading workshops and education work.

Companies he has worked for include the Royal Shakespeare Company, National Theatre of Great Britain, Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre London, English Shakespeare Company, Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, Granada Television, Hull Truck, Mercury Theatre, Colchester (where he was Associate Director), and the English Theatres in both Vienna and Frankfurt.

Graham is particularly known for his work on Shakespeare (having directed 18 separate Shakespeare plays in 26 productions) but also new writing, education, and short films.

Sarah and Graham worked on the FST’s 3 renditions of Shakespear’s plays, Mucho Ado About Nothing in 2005, Henry V 2006 & Anthony & Cleopatra in 2007.
